Area Ex Perfosfati – Portogruaro (VE)

The project originates from the intention to regenerate a former industrial area located close to the historic center of Portogruaro, transforming it into a new cultural hub dedicated to music. The intervention represents an urban regeneration process that combines the memory of the site with contemporary functions.

The complex hosts an international music school, conceived as a dynamic space for education, research, and artistic production. Alongside teaching activities, the project is designed to accommodate international music festivals, featuring renowned artists and guest performers.

At the core of the project lies the main concert hall, designed to ensure high acoustic performance and a strong relationship with the architecture. This is complemented by additional performance spaces: the inclined roof of the hall, conceived as an open-air stage; a dedicated organ concert hall; and a series of stepped natural areas integrated into the surrounding landscape, allowing outdoor events in a unique setting.

The project thus presents itself as an open and flexible system, capable of integrating architecture, music, and nature, giving the city a new place for cultural exchange and artistic production.
