Villa MAgno – Treviso

This is an original “Venetian Villa” built around 1600.
The villa was restored in the early 1900, when the owner also built the ground floor and the terraces on the first floor.
The first works were superficial for an aesthetic recovery of some rooms on the top floor. Following the wooden structural elements of the roof were “updated” with a white paint and highlighted. The changes to the interiors have been minimal and aimed at restoring the original appearance of the villa with passing rooms and more generously sized spaces. It was therefore more a question of inserting episodes rather than an overall and radical intervention on the existing one…as requested by the client.
